For the LP12 Turntable
It integrates perfectly with the suspension system of every Sondek LP12 turntable, and gives an extremely improved support for the springs and bearing housing.
The suspension bounce is also greatly improved. The vivid arm-board fixes rigidly to the sub chassis with brass inserts and bolts. This enables a true torqued fixing to take place (instead of the tiny wood screws into MDF !!) Acrylic manufactured and used in this way delivers unsurpassed resonance control, and gives a clean clear sound stage with attack, detail retrieval, the control of unwanted coloration. The vivid is superbly machined and polished from a single solid piece of 5mm acrylic to the same dimensions as the original LP12 sub chassis, thus providing an extremely rigid support to the tone-arm board, springs and bearing housing. The vivid brings life and vitality to your LP12 while still retaining the mid range warmth it is so famous for.
